In the study\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC8133465\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cSex differences in sexual attraction for aesthetics, resources and personality across age\u201d<\/a>\u00a0it showed that on average, females rate \u201cage, education, intelligence, income, trust, and emotional connection around 9 to 14 points higher than males\u201d on a 0\u2013100 scale.<\/p>\n<p>(Males, on the other hand, showed greater priority for attractiveness and physical build.)<\/p>\n<p>Put simply, just because you may notice straightaway if she\u2019s your physical type, she, on the other hand, may focus more on your emotional, financial and intellectual\u00a0prowess.<\/p>\n<p>Thus the more you interact with her (provided those interactions are positive!) you may get more signs from a woman that she\u2019s sexually attracted to you.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"10-body-language-signs-a-woman-is-sexually-attracted-to-you\">10 Body Language Signs A Woman Is Sexually Attracted To You<\/h2>\n<p>To kickstart your understanding of signs a woman is sexually attracted to you, let\u2019s take a look at 10 body language cues that she\u2019s into you. She keeps the space next to her free<\/h3>\n<p>If a woman is sexually attracted to you, in every way shape and form she will make herself available to connect with you more.<\/p>\n<p>If she:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>Budges over on a date so you can sit next to her (instead of opposite her)<\/li>\n<li>Moves her bag so you can take the seat next to her<\/li>\n<li>At a party, or in a college class, leaves the seat next to her free<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These are all great signs that she wants you to take the opportunity to talk to her more. Conversely if she sees you coming along and hurries to sit with her friend, or barricades herself off with a bag, this would be a negative sign!<\/p>\n<h3>2. However, you may check that she\u2019s comfortable with you by briefly appearing in her intimate space (<a href=\"https:\/\/thereader.mitpress.mit.edu\/understanding-personal-space-proxemics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">less than 1.5 inches away from her<\/a>) and seeing how she reacts.<\/p>\n<p>If she pulls backwards or freezes up, this is a bad sign, halt!<\/p>\n<p>If she leans in, this is a good sign.<\/p>\n<h3>3. She touches you<\/h3>\n<p>If a woman touches you it\u2019s an obvious sign that she likes you, and is to an extent comfortable with you.<\/p>\n<p>Take some caution here though as some women are more touchy-feely than others! If her love language is physical touch, or she grew up in a very tactile family, she may naturally want to reach out and touch (for myself personally I\u2019m a hugger!!!)<\/p>\n<p>However, that pat on the shoulder may just show she cares, not that she\u2019s attracted to you.<\/p>\n<p>If she allows her knees to touch yours, or her leg brushes against yours, or she strokes your arm with lingering eye contact\u2026 then these are all much clearer signs that a woman is sexually attracted to you.<\/p>\n<h3>5. She touches herself<\/h3>\n<p>We all have erogenous zones over our bodies, which are areas that are highly sensitive to physical touch. A\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/humanbehaviors.free.fr\/References%20-%20Articles\/Reports%20of%20intimate%20touch%20%20Erogenous%20zones%20and%20somatosensory%20cortical%20-%20Turnbull%20Erogenous%20Cortex%202013.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2013 paper on erogenous zones<\/a>\u00a0showed that the top erogenous zones are:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>The inner thigh<\/li>\n<li>The neck<\/li>\n<li>The mouth<\/li>\n<li>The lips<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you\u2019re on a date with a woman and she\u2019s actively stroking her body in these places, she\u2019s initiating a touch that\u2019s physically pleasurable in your company! This surely must be a good thing, but remember you don\u2019t know exactly how she feels about you, until you actively communicate with her (more on this later.)<\/p>\n<h3>6. She holds your eye contact OR looks down at her feet<\/h3>\n<figure class=\"w-richtext-align-center w-richtext-figure-type-image\">\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.prod.website-files.com\/6585a18830bd16fc683f76c7\/67976624268266ae89e8c63d_66c1b1ff52127360d3b47067_66c0caf88428444fb7b96814_a-woman-holding-her-gaze-with-a-man.jpeg\" alt=\"A beautiful woman glares at her date during a picnic\" \/><\/div><figcaption>He soon learned \u201clooks like my urine\u201d can ruin a moment<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>One of the quirks of signs that a woman is sexually attracted to you, is that sometimes signs can conflict \u2013 oh!<\/p>\n<p>A woman looking at you, then swiftly looking down at her feet can equally mean:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>I don\u2019t like this guy at all, I hope he stops looking at me!<\/li>\n<li>I think this guy is really hot and I feel overwhelmed holding his gaze<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Confusing! Typically women who are attracted to you will sneak a peek back to look at you again. This is because\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/abs\/pii\/S0747563219304376\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">eye contact is a way we nonverbally build intimacy<\/a>, and signal to someone that we want to build an emotionally intimate connection \u2013 we\u2019re not just here to exchange information.<\/p>\n<h3>7. She lets her hair down<\/h3>\n<p>Ask a group of men what are some signs that a woman is sexually attracted to you and they will probably say, \u201cplaying with her hair.\u201d Women also know that playing with their hair is a way to say, \u201cI\u2019m attracted to you.\u201d Unfortunately like many signs, they can also be read multiple ways! If she fidgets (with her hair or otherwise) this can also mean, \u2018I\u2019m nervous and not in a good way.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s really important that you don\u2019t just look at one sign a woman is sexually attracted to you in isolation, instead you want to see multiple signals before drawing any hard and fast conclusions.<\/p>\n<p>Women letting their hair down could also show that she\u2019s moving out of \u201cwork mode\u201d and into a more feminine and relaxed place. It\u2019s also a strong signal to send to men, as longer hair is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/figure\/The-Effect-of-Medium-length-and-Long-Hair-on-Physical-Attractive-ness-Relative-to_tbl2_235933291\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">considered more sexually desirable<\/a>\u00a0and signals a woman\u2019s reproductive potential.<\/p>\n<p>Women can also move their hair around their heads, leaving it to hang over one shoulder, to expose the nape of their necks. Head tilts can be a sign of submission; but again watch out she could do this subconsciously as she sees you as an authority figure, not just because she\u2019s sexually attracted to you!<\/p>\n<h3>8. She\u2019s happy to stand close to you head on<\/h3>\n<p>If a woman moves closer to you, she\u2019s letting you into her intimate space. This is even more significant if she moves closer head on.<\/p>\n<p>Try this out today: If you stand 1.5 inches away from someone (the intimate zone) side on, it will feel intense but manageable (FYI this is why sitting side by side with her on a date is a great idea!) Try standing 1.5 inches away from someone head on and it will feel A LOT more intense.<\/p>\n<p>So if you\u2019re on a date and you find yourself in this body language position, with prolonged eye contact, this is one of the clearest signals that a woman would like to kiss you.<\/p>\n<h3>9. She playfully hides<\/h3>\n<p>A go-to way that women appear demure and feminine on dates is to use their body language to playfully \u201chide\u201d from you.<\/p>\n<p>This could mean that she:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>Puts her hands over her cheeks<\/li>\n<li>Covers her eyes, and does a huge grin<\/li>\n<li>Pulls her scarf up over her eyes and then pulls it down again<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I know this because, as a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hayleyquinn.com\/\">leading dating coach<\/a>, I also coach women to meet men in real life, and these are a few of the flirtatious body language cues I teach them!<\/p>\n<h3>10. She opens her arms out towards you on a table<\/h3>\n<p>As I mentioned earlier, dates that you can sit side by side on, are usually much better for getting close to her in a way that feels comfortable. However if you end up sitting opposite her on a date (doh!) notice the position of her arms. Does she fold her arms, or put her mobile phone in between you?<\/p>\n<p>Or are her arms stretched out towards you on the table, palms up? If so this open body language is inviting a closer connection. Could you try noticing her jewelry or briefly picking up her hand?<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"5-behavioural-signs-a-woman-is-sexually-attracted-to-you\">5 Behavioural signs a woman is sexually attracted to you?<\/h2>\n<p>Now we\u2019ve looked closely at body language, how do a woman\u2019s actions change if she\u2019s into you?<\/p>\n<h3>1. She makes herself available for you<\/h3>\n<p>It\u2019s pretty straightforward: If a woman isn\u2019t into you (or just not<em>\u00a0that\u00a0<\/em>into you) then she\u2019ll have every excuse in the book to not meet. She\u2019ll have too much studying to catch up on, a deadline, a friend\u2019s come to stay, she\u2019s not feeling well etc.<\/p>\n<p>If a woman is interested in you she\u2019ll be at pains to create time to meet you. You\u2019ll find that she finds time for a quick meeting, stays out later than she intended, moves her commitments with her friends, or turns up at the party she knows you\u2019ll be at!<\/p>\n<p>Remember desire always overcomes logistics, so if a woman isn\u2019t meeting up, it\u2019s not usually that she can\u2019t, it\u2019s that she won\u2019t, because you\u2019re not enough of a priority to her yet.<\/p>\n<h3>2. She agrees with you!<\/h3>\n<p>In order to feel closer to you, she may start by agreeing on a lot of topics. If you find she:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>Suddenly loves bouldering (your favorite hobby)<\/li>\n<li>Follows the same people on social media<\/li>\n<li>Starts listening to the music you like<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u2026she\u2019s interested in you. This is especially true is she makes a point of letting you know that she likes the same things; or coos \u201coh that is so interesting,\u201d when you mention a detail from your life.<\/p>\n<p>By agreeing a lot with you she\u2019s trying to draw your attention to what a great match you are!<\/p>\n<h3>3. She disagrees with you<\/h3>\n<p>Yup, this is yet another sign a woman is sexually attracted to you that can be read in two ways.<\/p>\n<p>Trust me, sometimes women will just disagree with you, and it does not mean there\u2019s any simmering sexual tension beneath the surface. She may just think you\u2019re an as*hole.<\/p>\n<p>However, if her disagreement is communicated with a huge smile and a playful tone of voice \u201cOh my gosh i can\u2019t keep hanging out with you, if you\u2019re into<em>\u00a0that<\/em>!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Or, \u201cOkay let\u2019s meet for tennis practice Saturday but be prepared to lose!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Or, \u201cWhy are you always right?!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She\u2019s trying to have fun with you! Being playful is one of the easiest ways for women to show they\u2019re sexually attracted to you and flirt. Flirting is fun, and this playful disagreement is encouraging you to flirt with her.<\/p>\n<h3>4. She\u2019s always full of enthusiasm around you<\/h3>\n<p>When she\u2019s excited about the prospect of getting to know you more, this will show up in her behavior, she\u2019ll come across as energized, enthusiastic and smiley. That\u2019s because when we spend time with someone we\u2019re sexually attracted to, it\u2019s exciting!<\/p>\n<p>(All this energy she suddenly has, will also make it easy for her to find time in her packed schedule to meet you, or stay up past her bedtime on a date, she\u2019ll want more and more of you!)<\/p>\n<p>Conversely if a woman is (how do I say this??) \u201cmopey\u201d around you this is a bad sign. She\u2019s probably not into you if:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>She leaves a date early because she\u2019s tired<\/li>\n<li>She talks continually about her ex and how he let her down<\/li>\n<li>Her responses to your suggestions to meet more are lethargic, \u201cyeah I guess I could be free.\u201d etc<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>5. If you meet a woman you like you may sweat it out over where to take her, and what you can say to impress her.<\/p>\n<p>The other way around she\u2019ll probably be planning her best date night outfit, getting her nails done or even if you\u2019re going hiking, will turn up in her newest most form fitting gym kit.<\/p>\n<p>Women know men are drawn to how they look, and the more effort she\u2019s putting into her appearance, the more she\u2019s investing in the outcome of that date.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"3-communication-clues-she\u2019s-sexually-attracted-to-you\">3 Communication Clues She\u2019s Sexually Attracted To You<\/h2>\n<h3>1. She sends you photos<\/h3>\n<p>Women who aren\u2019t sexually attracted to you, will do almost everything to stop themselves being \u201cseen\u201d by you, \u201chow do I block this guy on Instagram \u2013 yuk!\u201d Women who are into you will want to keep themselves in the front of your mind.<\/p>\n<p>This could mean she:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>Sends you an impossibly hot picture of her \u201cjust waiting for my flight.\u201d (As if that didn\u2019t take her 10 attempts to get that selfie right!)<\/li>\n<li>Sends you a picture of her out on a night out with her girlfriends. Here she could be trying to communicate to you, \u201cdon\u2019t worry, I\u2019m just out with the girls, you\u2019re the guy I\u2019m into.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Sends you regular updates on her life via pictures, videos, voicenotes, wow she really wants to connect!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Back in my single days, I even remember changing my WhatsApp profile picture being a very effective strategy to get a guy to get back in touch!<\/p>\n<h3>2. She initiates conversations with you<\/h3>\n<p>When it comes to dating women have had it drummed into them that making the first move is bad. She\u2019ll worry if she tries too hard, or comes across too keen, that it will spoil the chase and put you off. This means when a woman is sexually attracted to a guy, she\u2019ll be \u201csitting on her hands\u201d A LOT to try to stop herself from reaching out to you.<\/p>\n<p>Inevitably sometimes she will fail and get in touch! If a woman:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>Contacts you out of the blue to see how you are, or wish you Happy Holidays<\/li>\n<li>Tries to keep the conversation going even when it\u2019s reached its natural conclusion<\/li>\n<li>Keep finding excuses to ask you about something\u2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These are all digital communication clues that she could be sexually attracted to you.<\/p>\n<h3>3.
