Elvis\u00a0Presley<\/a>\u00a0wasn\u2019t just renowned for his groundbreaking music and distinctive voice that captivated millions worldwide.<\/p>\n

He also had a flair for food and fashion (blue suede shoes, anyone?), and perhaps surprisingly, a talent for interior design.<\/p>\n

This flair is beautifully showcased in the King of Rock\u2019s iconic private jet.<\/h4>\n

A glance inside reveals stunning wood paneling, lush carpeting, and plush red velvet chairs.<\/p>\n

The plane, a Lockheed Jetstar model, remained in Elvis\u2019s possession for over 35 years but was abandoned following his\u00a0death<\/a>\u00a0in 1977.<\/p>\n

Among his private aircraft collection, this Lockheed was particularly memorable.<\/p>\n

His fleet included a customized Convair 880, known as \u201cLisa Marie,\u201d marked by the call sign Hound Dog 1, along with another JetStar aircraft, Hound Dog 2.<\/p>\n

The jet had been parked for decades along a road in Roswell, New Mexico, but after all these years, it has finally found a new owner. An Elvis fan recently purchased it over the phone at a Florida auction, paying $260,000.<\/p>\n

When the plane first took to the skies, Elvis shared it with his father, Vernon Presley. After his passing, the aircraft sat in New Mexico for more than 30 years. Its exterior red paint may now appear a bit faded, but for its age, it\u2019s still in impressive condition.<\/p>\n

Take a peek inside\u2026 It\u2019s everything you\u2019d expect from the King of Rock\u2019s signature style. The walls are lined with wood panels, and the chairs are upholstered in rich red velvet.<\/p>\n

Naturally, there\u2019s a \u2018high-tech\u2019 TV installed. The plane\u2019s layout is mostly one large room, offering comfortable seating with plenty of space for guests. Beyond the main cabin, there\u2019s a small kitchen. Just look at the vintage microwave \u2013 it likely doesn\u2019t work anymore after all these years. Imagine Elvis stepping out of his seat, heading to the kitchen to make his classic sandwich with peanut butter, mayonnaise, crispy bacon, and banana \u2013 then warming it in the microwave. Rock history!<\/p>\n

The bathroom, of course, features more velvet and a luxurious sink, quite the contrast to the cramped quarters of today\u2019s charter flights.<\/p>\n

Not bad, right? I\u2019m thrilled to have had this glimpse into Elvis\u2019s ultimate travel style.<\/p>\n
